ITS THE END OF THE YEAR!!! OH MY GOD!! i love the holidays….. and im goin to the beach in a week, yay! and, oh, well i could go on, but i should be talkin about what ive done in english this year. its my last blog, i could do it from homw, but i dont really ever have much to write about. so this will probably be the last one.

Well, in english this year i have learnt heaps about the lifestyle of a young person living in Afghanistan, like in the book Parvana. and then we learnt about Millie, from millie and the night heron. we did have another book to read but we didnt end up getting it. and yeh Mrs.McLeay was realy broken up about it. seriously. it was going to about the was, called standing in the shadows. OH! for the first time i actually thought of something to say!!

 This term, me, madi, miranda, indi, mikaela and nikki made a movie on world war one!! i played a little girl called suzie, and miranda played my mum. we were in the upper class, and then there were our 2 servants dora and Hilary, played by mikaela and indi. Nikki was a news reporter and madi did all the filming. we showed it to the class  today, it was REALLY embarressing, my accent was pretty phony. but mrs.mcleay really liked it. she said we should enter it in t he film festival. my older brother tayne could actually do that for us but i dont think it will happen. anyway, this year we’ve done heaps.

and now we’ll be YEAR 8’s!! Bye evryone!!

Well, i think it was a good idea to make a website about movies…………… i guess. these are some of the movies he wrote about;

He also wrote about books as well which was………………..interseting, yes, very interseting.

That anyone from all over the world could be reading this right now, no that they’d want to, but they sure could!

2. Does blogging help you learn more writing and language?

Not really, because i havent learnt much doing this, and i havent written much eiather

that there is NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER ANYTHING to write about, EVER!!!

Millie and the Night Heron was a book we had to read for our English class.

in the book, millie has to move schools because her mum needs to go for a new job as an art techer at a school far away. which means leaving her friends at school, her house, her town, and sheri and michael. Sheri is her mums best friend, and she is like a 2nd mum to millie, and micthell is sheri’s son.

When millie and her mum kate move, they stay in a b+b, and her mum does get the job

At chrismas, millie and kate go to visit sheri and mitch, at their new house, but now sheri is with a new man called brendan trotter, who is a councillor person at a school, and he is contrlling and mean. but worst of all the present he gets Kate is a book that he wrote, ‘12 Steps To RAising Sucessful Teens’. Millie is disgusted!!!!

i wont say anythig else about the ending, exccept that millie goes on camp, and her mum meets someone called Tom, who is a photgraper, and is realy nice.

i didnt really like this book, i think it seemed a bit boring and it took me a while to read. i dont really like reading at all but if i have to i want it to be iteresting, but hey, go ahead, you can read it if you really want  to.
